Distinctive, aesthetically pleasing basket hand-woven by Zulu women in South Africa.

 

The handcrafted nature of the basket makes it unique and only one of this design is available.

 

Zulu baskets are made entirely from bio-renewable sources e.g. ilala palm leaves. The distinct colors on baskets are obtained from natural dyes made with berries, leaves, barks and indigenous flora.

 

 Zulu women typically integrate basket weaving into their daily chores. This basket took approximately 8 days to complete.
