Cape Weaver

We design with care.
You stay with purpose.

At Cape Weaver, we're trying to be present. To listen, to create, and to share spaces and ideas that feel good for the earth and its people.

What all birds know,
man has forgotten to sing.

Like the weaverbird, we believe in building with intention—choosing materials thoughtfully, collaborating with others, and leaving a light footprint. Every stay, every product, and every project at Cape Weaver is part of a story that's as much about connection as it is about craft.

The Muizenberg years

Two nests by the sea, passed to new custodians.

For six years our boutique guesthouse above Muizenberg's surf carried the Cape Weaver standard: handcrafted details, softened light, and the kind of quiet that lets you hear the world breathe. In 2026 we passed it on, and turned our weave toward Greyton. The story continues in the village.

coming to Greyton  Two more nests join the cottage within the next year or two, along with the return of our little gift shop of local, thoughtfully crafted things. Stay tuned.

Three threads, one purpose

Stay, discover, and co-create with us.

A place to land

Guest spaces woven with natural textures, softened by light, and shaped by the landscapes around them. Come, perch a while.

Take a piece with you

Locally made, thoughtfully crafted, chosen with care. From the guest houses to your house. Returning with the Greyton expansion.

Transform spaces, together

Restoration over replacement: original elements first, impactful updates only where they enhance flow and function.

"Every place holds a story, waiting to be told."

In a world that moves too fast, the quiet things endure: unchanged, unhurried, and waiting for you.

We'd love to hear from you.
